Dr. Debadatta Das
InstructorDr. Debadatta Das is currently working as a Resource Associate at IIM Bangalore. He has more than 10 years of Corporate and 8 years of academic experience. He is a well-known expert in the domain of finance. Prior to IIMB, he was working at ISB, Hyderabad and he previously worked in the Agriculture Department of the Government of Odisha as Financial Administrator. He has presented many papers at international conferences and conducted workshops in many Business Schools. Recently he presented a paper “Effects of cash holdings on corporate performance and value: Evidence from Indian Companies” at the International School of Business & Research, Bangalore. He has delivered corporate training in finance for many SMEs and his training in financial spreadsheet modelling has enhanced the learning experience of thousands of his students over the past eight years. Dr. Debadatta is a member of the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) since 2006 and worked extensively with BSE and NSE. Recently he consulted a research project of NSE “An in-depth study on grievance redressal process in the National Stock Exchange” Dr. Debadatta is an entrepreneur and startup consultant. He is the founder and director of ‘Biswa Future Securities Pvt. Ltd. which is a financial service organization. He is the founder and trustee of ‘Das Educational Trust’, which imparts educational services and guidance to unprivileged students. He has done a Ph.D. in Management, M.Phil. (Management), M. Com, MBA (Finance), IFRS (KPMG), AMFI, NCFM, and BCDE.
